We’re Glad You’re Here
Visiting a church for the first time can feel intimidating. At Church of the Risen Christ, we want your experience to be peaceful, welcoming, and centered on Christ. This page gives you everything you need to know before you come.
Let Us Know You’re Coming
If you’d like, you can send us a quick message so we can be ready to welcome you personally.
We Can’t Wait to Meet You
Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a Christ‑centered community, we’re here for you. Come as you are — you’ll find grace, truth, and a warm welcome.
Holy Communion
We believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Sacrament and practice communion in a way that reflects this sacred gift. Before receiving communion, you’re welcome to speak with the pastor if you have questions about our practice.
Common Questions
-
Wear what’s comfortable. Some people dress up, others dress casually — you’ll fit in either way.
-
Children are welcome in worship. If you prefer, we also offer:
A quiet area for parents with infants
Activity bags for young children
We believe children learn the faith by being present in worship.
-
You’ll be greeted at the door by someone who’s genuinely glad you’re here. They can help you:

Settle in comfortably
We won’t single you out or make you stand up — you can participate as much or as little as you like.

No. We do not pass a plate. Offerings are the free will gifts given by those feeling led to give. An offering box is near the entrance of the chapel.
-
Not at all. Everything is printed in the bulletin. Also, our Book of Worship has the liturgy and hymns we sing.
