1. Director of the Press (or Publisher)

Role: Overall head of the publishing house

Reports to: Presiding Bishop (through the Chancery or House of Bishops)

Responsibilities:

  • Sets publishing vision and priorities

  • Approves projects

  • Oversees doctrinal integrity

  • Represents the Press publicly

2. Theological Editor / Doctrinal Editor

Role: Guardian of theological accuracy

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews manuscripts for orthodoxy

  • Ensures alignment with communion doctrine

  • Works closely with bishops when publishing official texts

3. Managing Editor

Role: Day-to-day publishing operations

Responsibilities:

  • Manuscript tracking

  • Editorial timelines

  • Author coordination

  • Production schedules

4. Liturgical Editor

Role: Oversees worship-related publications

Responsibilities:

  • Prayer books

  • Missals

  • Ordinals

  • Rites and rubrics

Often a priest or liturgical scholar.

5. Copy Editor / Proofreader

Role: Precision and polish

Responsibilities:

  • Grammar and clarity

  • Formatting consistency

  • Style guide enforcement

6. Archivist / Text Custodian

Role: Preservation of official texts

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains master editions

  • Tracks revisions

  • Works with the Chancery archives
